What Blitzboard keeps, who can see it, and how to get rid of it. Written in plain language, because you should be able to read it.
The short version

What's stored
Without syncing
Your levels, startposes, cleared ranges, best runs, goals and settings are kept only in your browser (its local storage). Nothing about them reaches Blitzboard's server.
When you turn on sync
Your levels and progress, so your other devices get them.
Sync codes: the server only keeps a scrambled (hashed) form. The code itself stays on your devices.
Your devices: a random ID, a label like "Chrome on Windows", the name you give it, and when it last synced, so you can see and remove devices.
A daily snapshot of each level's progress and milestones (stage cleared, verified, goal reached). These power Top verifications and the activity feed.
Your Play later list and saved levels.
If you sign in with Google or email
Sign-in is handled by Clerk. Blitzboard receives an account ID, your name, email address and profile photo. They're used to keep you signed in and are shown only to you, hidden until you press Show.
If you set up a profile
Your username (and past usernames), bio, name colours, chosen icon, linked Geometry Dash account (its name and icons, read from the GD servers), who you follow and who follows you.
Comments, reactions and pinned messages
What you write and react with, under your username.
Reports and messages
When you report something or use the contact form, it's kept with a random browser ID and a scrambled form of your IP address. Those are used only to stop people flooding the inbox.
Server logs
The hosting provider keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, for a short time to keep the site running.
Who can see it
By default, only you. Synced levels are private.
Share links: anyone with a level's share link can see that level's progress, comments and pinned messages, but can't change anything. You can reset a link at any time.
Public profile (off unless you turn it on): your username, levels and progress appear on your profile, on level pages, in Top verifications and search, and in your followers' feeds.
Stream overlay, chat command and hotkey links work for anyone who has them, so keep them private. They're hidden on screen until you press Show.
Moderators (Blitzboard's creator) can see reports and contact messages.
Other services involved
Vercel hosts the site. Neon stores synced data. Clerk handles sign-in, only if you use it.
Google Fonts: your browser loads the site's fonts from Google.
OpenAI: new comments, pinned messages, usernames and bios are checked by OpenAI's moderation tool for abuse before they're posted. Only that text is sent, not who wrote it, and it isn't used to train OpenAI's models.
Geometry Dash servers and the AREDL: Blitzboard's server asks them for level, player and demon list information. Your browser doesn't contact them.
YouTube: a showcase video only loads, in privacy-enhanced mode, once you press play.
Newgrounds and Geometry Dash's song host: a level's song is downloaded from them by your browser, only when you press play.
Chat bots (Nightbot, StreamElements, Fossabot): if you set up the chat command, your bot's service fetches your progress through your private link.
GDBrowser and other sites only when you click a link to them.
Deleting your data
Everything on the server: Sync → Sync code(s) tab → Careful → Delete my account. This erases your levels, profile, username, comments, reactions, follows, links, milestones and devices, and your Google or email sign-in. It can't be undone.
One device: Sync → Devices → Manage → Delete data here, or clear your browser's site data.
Deleted levels leave a small hidden marker for up to 60 days so your other devices know they were deleted. The database provider may keep backups for a short period after that.
If you're under 13, ask a parent before signing in with Google or turning on a public profile. You can always use a sync code instead, which needs no email.
Community rules
No hate, slurs or harassment, in usernames, bios, level names, comments or pinned messages.
No spam, and no faking progress on public profiles.
Don't post anyone's personal information, including your own.
Some things are checked automatically: a word filter, an AI check for abuse, and spam rules. New accounts can't post links for their first 3 days, repeated messages and floods are refused, and scam-looking messages wait for a moderator. Anything can be reported with the Report button. If several different people report the same thing, it's hidden until a moderator looks at it. Moderators may remove content or ban accounts that break the rules. A banned account disappears from public pages and can't comment, but its owner keeps their own levels. To appeal, use the form below.
